How you can participate?

There are a number of ways that you can become involved in this amazing project and make a difference for the Kidz. As an athlete you can secure a sponsorship which differs per event or as an individual or company you can make a cash donation to the Ironman 4 the Kidz Charity Trust.

Don’t miss out on this international event!

Compete in the Spec- Savers Ironman SA on the 14 April, not only to claim your well-deserved title of being an "IRONMAN" but also be an active part of making a difference for the kids in need.

By successfully securing a sponsorship for this event, which can include your registration fees, you will participate in a bright ORANGE charity vest offering great exposure and recognition for your sponsors while assisting the Trust reach the 2013 goal of 1.6 Million for our 12 children beneficiaries

All participating sponsors are entitled to an 18A Tax Certificate which allows them to reclaim a portion of their support and the Ironman 4 the Kidz Charity Trust is defined as a level 4 BEE contributor with all our 12 beneficiaries being registered NPO’s and falling within the requirements of the BBBEE codes of good practice .

Securing a sponsor is easier than you may think and your participation will ensure that the Trust can continue to offer assistance where it is needed.

Our Promise

With the Ironman 4 the Kidz Charity Trust being a registered non-profit organization and having a social responsibility to 12 Charities, we will ensure that your contributions are effectively and correctly used to directly improve the life and needs of the Kidz in the Eastern Cape.

There is no limit to an amount of a donation to the Trust

All contributions received are accumulated and added to the final target of 1.6 Million for 2013

All participating companies are entitled to receive a Tax certificate for the donation amount from the charity, which assists with the yearly tax return.

Our Aim

The KFC Ironman 4 the Kidz Charity's aim is to raise awareness for the plight of less fortunate children,who often come from dysfunctional family backgrounds. Improving the quality of these children’s lives and making them more meaningful is what we are all about!

The idea of the charity began when the founders realised that they could raise money for needy children by participating in the Spec-Savers Ironman South Africa. Even though the:

42.2 km run

does seem like a daunting task “ raising funds for the children is a great motivator” says Stephenson and with so many loyal and generous sponsors and supporters the 2013 goal of 1.6 Million is going to be difficult but dispite our current financial climate we do believe it is once again achievable!
